Gabi representing Great Britain in World Cup...

Wheelchair Fencer, Gabi Down is representing Great Britain in the DEFI-AlterGo Wheelchair World Cup in Canada this weekend.

The competition starts today in Montréal. We caught up with Gabi yesterday to find out what she's been up to.

"We arrived in Montréal last night, after a 6 and a half hour flight we were all exhausted. We got to our hotel at about 10pm Canada time and unpacked and pretty much went straight to bed.

After a nice relaxed breakfast we went out into town to look around. we had a really lovely morning walking around and looking at different sights. We've juist got back to the hotel in time for lunch. the plan for after lunch is to do a couple hours of training and then we have weapons control and wheelchair check. Preparations for tomorrows competition start now."

Gabi's World Cup Adventure starts today. We'll let you know how she gets on.
