Martin Stamper ready for World Taekwondo Grand Prix
This weekend brings the first ever WTF World Taekwondo Grand Prix in Manchester.
The event will take place from 13-15 December at Manchester Central bringing 250 of the World’s top taekwondo athletes, across eight different weight categories, coming together to battle it out for vital qualification points ahead of Rio 2016.
The competition is the first of four global Grand Prix, with a Grand Prix Final to be held at the end of 2014.
Water-to-Go ambassador Martin Stamper is set to compete along with Olympic Gold Medalist Jade Jones, Lutalo Muhammad, Bianca Walkden, Michael Harvey & many more.
"Really looking forward to the Grand Prix, it's going to be a tough competition with all the best players in the world fighting" Martin told Water-to-Go. "I've had some really good preparation and I'm feeling really good. I performed well at the Serbian Open back in October and then had a really good camp in China/Korea just a few weeks ago. I hope to cash all that hard work in on Sunday and put in a great performance."
If you're not in Manchester, don't worry you can catch all of the action live by clicking here.
You can also watch the semi-finals and finals live on BBC Red Button and BBC Sport website each day of the competition!
